We are looking for a Social Enterprise Manager to join our team at Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire.

Based in Coventry, the role involves managing our day-to-day enterprise operations:

  • managing our retail outlet (our charity shop on Red Lane, Coventry) and warehouse
  • managing contracted work to collect bulky waste
  • maximizing sales and income by overseeing and developing companions, staff and volunteers to provide excellent customer service and efficient retail and contract operations
  • working to grow and improve the delivery of all enterprise activities of the charity.

Emmaus Coventry & Warwickshire runs its business operations six days a week and provides support to the community all week. Although staff have agreed hours of work, they are expected to be flexible to respond to the unexpected.

The Social Enterprise Manager will carry out their work alongside companions (people being supported by our charity) both in our residential and work setting and therefore needs to show flexibility in all aspects of delivery. The Social Enterprise Manager will need to work collaboratively with the Support Manager and the Warehouse Supervisor.
