The Emmaus Cambridge tech recycling enterprise, Emmaus Reboot, has re-opened in Landbeach following a 12-week closure due to coronavirus.
Launched in 2019, Emmaus Reboot accepts donations of laptops, desktop computers, flat screen monitors, and tablets to refurbish or recycle and has helped many people gain access to affordable IT equipment and bundles.
The aim of Emmaus Reboot is to provide families, who may not be able to afford a computer, with a full PC bundle at an affordable price. This is particularly important at a time when many people are working from home and children require a computer to do their schoolwork.
Emmaus Reboot offers PC bundles at varying prices, starting from just £25 and is located in Landbeach, alongside the Emmaus Cambridge community, shop, The Emmaus Garden and Joan’s Coffee Shop.
To visit, please bear in mind Emmaus Cambridge is operating reduced hours and is open from Wednesday – Sunday 10:00 – 16:00 only. Directional signage is displayed around the site and a one-way system has been put in place.
