Join us this December for a Solidarity Christmas Lunch
Recently a companion spoke to the team about organising a Christmas lunch for people who are facing loneliness, social isolation and financial difficulties during the festive period. We’re pleased to share we’ll be doing just that!
On Sunday 10th December, at 12.30pm we’ll be welcoming guests from the wider community to sit down with us and enjoy a turkey dinner (vegetarian & vegan options available), meet new people and celebrate the Christmas season.
At Emmaus Cambridge, an important part of our ethos is to support and help those who need it most, and we know that many people struggle at Christmas time, including our companions. We’re excited to gather as a community to celebrate the end of the year and the festive season.
Our solidarity Christmas dinner is now full! We look forward to welcoming guests to our cafe this weekend.
Waiting time for collections
We are continuing to experience significant demand for collections and waiting times for collections are in the region of 6-8 weeks. Please be aware when you are booking a collection with us.
