Recently a companion spoke to the team about organising a Christmas lunch for people who are facing loneliness, social isolation and financial difficulties during the festive period. We’re pleased to share we’ll be doing just that!
On Sunday 10th December, at 12.30pm we’ll be welcoming guests from the wider community to sit down with us and enjoy a turkey dinner (vegetarian & vegan options available), meet new people and celebrate the Christmas season.
At Emmaus Cambridge, an important part of our ethos is to support and help those who need it most, and we know that many people struggle at Christmas time, including our companions. We’re excited to gather as a community to celebrate the end of the year and the festive season.
If you or someone you know would benefit from joining our Christmas lunch, please fill out this form and a member of staff will get in touch with you. Places are limited so please submit the form as soon as possible.
