We’d like to say a huge thank you to VolkerFitzpatrick for donating over £24,000 in brand-new furniture to our homelessness charity.

We recently took delivery of two van loads of modern furniture from the Hoddesdon based contractor.

VolkerFitzpatrick were first introduced to our charity by construction industry’s charity, CRASH.

Commercial Director for VolkerFitzpatrick and trustee of CRASH charity John O’Grady was pleased that the furniture could go to a good home and said: “Emmaus Village Carlton does amazing work to try to help people get their lives back on track. As a leading engineering and construction contractor, VolkerFitzpatrick is always looking at ways to support our local communities, that is why we are a proud Patron of CRASH charity. We are delighted that we can improve a large number of people’s lives with this donation.”

It always means a lot when businesses offer support for our charity, and we’re extremely grateful to VolkerFitzpatrick for this generous donation. The new furniture will make a big difference, helping to ensure our community continues to be a really welcoming environment for those who need it most.

VolkerFitzpatrick with the help of CRASH charity will continue to support Emmaus Village Carlton with the renovation of our chapel building, transforming the space into a modern workshop where our companions can restore furniture and host our popular upcycling workshops. The project is due to commence in summer this year.
