They recently spent a day with us, volunteering to help clear the weeds from part of our garden and prepare for new strawberry plants. We really appreciate their support.
The Emmaus Village Carlton Garden Project (based on land behind our shops near Carlton in Bedfordshire) grows fruit and vegetables which are harvested to provide fresh ingredients in meals for our companions (the people we support, who have experienced homelessness, who live on site). Any surplus is then used in the kitchen of our popular em’s Bistro.
