As those of you who have been keeping an eye on our Facebook page will know, our staff and companions have definitely been keeping busy during the lockdown period. This is especially true of our companions who have been working hard on various DIY and renovation projects, both inside and out.

Last week saw the installation of a brand new Emmaus Village Carlton entrance sign. The sign was handmade by our talented companion Brett, in the workshop on site. Take a look at the gallery below, for a glimpse into Brett’s creative process.

We’d like to say a big thank you to the kind people at Harrold Odell Country Park who donated the wood for this project.

We know that, once we’re able to reopen to visitors (hopefully soon), the sign will be greatly admired by all.
