From Wednesday 5 October 2022, our donation drop-off area will close a little earlier each day, to give us time to process everything safely.

We’re so thankful to you all for bringing in your unwanted items to be sold in our charity shops. At the moment we’re inundated, which is amazing, and will enable us to raise even more funds for our homelessness charity. These larger amounts mean that we need a little more time to make sure we can process everything properly, ready for sorting and preparing for the shop floor, ensuring Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to.

Our donation drop-off area (at our site near Carlton, Bedfordshire) will be open Wednesday to Saturday 10am – 2.30pm and Sunday 10am – 2.30pm (as from 5th October).

Our wonderful companions, volunteers and staff work really hard to keep everything running like clockwork, with hundreds of items coming in every day. Closing the drop-off area at 2.30pm means we will avoid everything piling up and running out of time to get it safely inside and sorted.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank all our supporters once again, for everything they do to help Emmaus Village Carlton continue our vital work enabling those who’ve experienced homelessness to turn their lives around.
