Do you want to gain experience and develop your social media marketing skills for a local charity? We’re looking for a creative Social Media Volunteer to help Emmaus South Manchester shine online. This exciting role will involve capturing and sharing pictures and video content to showcase our Emporium and the growth of our charity.
Main duties
- Capture quality images and video at our Emporium
- Create engaging content for different social media channels
- Reply to inbox messages and comments
- Support local and national campaigns
- Promote public understanding of the work of Emmaus.
Skills required
- We’re looking for a dedicated individual with experience of different social media platforms
- Good written ability and communication skills
- Interest in photography, video and a keen eye for detail
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic and a positive, can-do attitude
- Knowledge of marketing and public relations is also desirable.
Time commitment
We are looking for a volunteer who can commit to at least 4 hours per week, ideally visiting our Emporium on a Wednesday or Friday. We can be flexible in terms of which day(s) and this role can be done in part remotely.
