The Emmaus South Manchester charity is overseen by a group of skilled and experienced volunteers who make up our board of trustees.

Emmaus South Manchester is a registered charity (no. 1185563) and registered company (no. 11181301). Legal and financial responsibility for the proper conduct of Emmaus South Manchester’s affairs rests with the trustees, who must report annually to the Charity Commission and to Companies House.

Our board of trustees has a mix of people with different skills and expertise to help with strategic planning and governance. Emmaus South Manchester trustees include people with roots in South Manchester, those with specific skill sets such as legal and financial, and people with prior experience managing other Emmaus communities.

As our charity develops and grows, we will look to increase our board membership to bring in people with different skills, expertise and life experiences. Keep a look out on our volunteer page for trustee vacancies.
