We’re recruiting new Trustees!
- Do you want to make a difference to lives of people who have experienced homelessness?
- Passionate about solidarity with people facing inequalities?
- Interested in learning more about governance in a small/medium charity that can?
At Emmaus South Lambeth Community, we’re looking for people to join our Board of Trustees.
We are looking to recruit new Trustees who have a range of skills and experiences. This is a great opportunity for someone who has never been a Trustee before but cares about what we do and wants to develop their skills – mentoring and development support can be provided. We would also love to hear from anyone who already has experience of charity governance but is looking for a new opportunity.
Anyone with an interest is welcome to apply. We are especially keen to hear from people with one of the following experiences or interests:
- People with a passion for solidarity that improves the lives of people who have experienced homelessness. We especially welcome applications from people with lived experience of homelessness, have a personal connection to the issues, and/or people who have worked or volunteered in a relevant sector.
- People with some interest and/or experience in finance and budget management (Note: you do not need to have any formal finance qualifications for this, just some experience managing a budget – this could be a great opportunity for anyone wanting to further develop their skills in this area!)
