Calling all businesses and individuals looking for a way to have fun while raising money for charity!
Emmaus Preston is offering free fundraising tips and reduced entry for people who would like to register for the SPAR City of Preston run to raise money for the homelessness charity.
Fundraising open to all ages
These special charity places are available to people of all ages who would like to collect sponsorship for Emmaus Preston in the build up to the fun run on September 24. The race sets off from Preston Flag Market, PR1 2AP at 9:30am near the charity’s four shops on Fishergate and Lowthian Street in Preston. Participants in the fundraising event will have the choice to challenge themselves to a 10K or a take on a 1-mile route.
Runners can simply register on Emmaus Preston’s website below and follow the instructions to start fundraising. All money raised will help Emmaus Preston support people building back from homelessness, and generate the income needed to sustain its community home on Ribbleton Lane in the city.

“What you raise in sponsorship will help us continue our vital work helping people facing homelessness in the city and supporting these people to build back to happier and more fulfilled lives.
