We are pleased to announce that the Emmaus Hampshire Knit and Crochet Group has started to meet on Thursdays at 11.00am. All you need to do is come along to The Green Roof Café at Bar End, Winchester, and Sarah, who is leading the Group, will be there to welcome you. No need to book or call, just turn up!

As Sarah says, “Whether you’re a complete beginner, an improver or if you’ve been knitting or crocheting for years. I hope the Group will offer people the chance to learn from each other, try something new and enjoy the social side. I love the buzz of teaching people and absolutely believe that anyone can do it.”

So whether you know how to ‘cast on’ or not, it really doesn’t matter. Don’t worry if you don’t have your own needles or wool because Sarah can provide you with all the essentials to get you going.

“Some people might come along to the Group with a particular project in mind such as a scarf, a hat, or a bag. Whereas others might just want to explore new techniques or try something different like knitting a mushroom or a guinea pig! Knitting and crocheting can be so varied and versatile, and I’m hoping that it’s also an opportunity to meet new people and have some fun.”

So why not give it a go?
