Here’s a sneak peek of six planters and five benches we are installing at RHS Bridgewater, an massive 33 metres long! These took a day and a half to put in by the Blue Peter Garden, and the team will be returning soon to make some finishing touches.
The design was preassembled over ten days at our on-site carpentry and joinery workshops by the team at our homelessness charity – which took a lot of precise maths. Not least to get the distance between each section spot on!
Emmaus Bolton Projects Manager Phil said, “Lots of people were stopping by during the install, to say it looked great and ‘good job’. We’ve over the moon to have finished the project, which will make the area more pleasurable to sit in once its planted.”
The planter and benches were the second order Emmaus Bolton has made for the RHS Bridgewater. We delivered six picnic tables, with disabled access, that the team delivered in August last year. You can revisit news about this order for the RHS here.
