CLOSING DATE: Ongoing LOCATION: Plumstead TYPE: volunteer

Are you interested in creating, preparing and cooking dishes? Do you want to help people in need? Come and support Emmaus Greenwich by helping us prepare tasty and healthy meals for people living in our home from homelessness and visitors to our outreach services.

Mealtimes are really important parts of the day for our community, when people supported by Emmaus homelessness charity (our companions), volunteers and staff come together to eat. With many people to feed across the south of the city, our kitchen is a very busy place, so we are looking for volunteers to work alongside our companions to help prepare meals for our community.

People who are street homeless, marginalised or struggling with food poverty can attend our Street Souls solidarity points.
