Emmaus Greenwich is a homelessness charity with a difference. We offer people who have experienced homelessness a place to call home for as long as they need it, meaningful work in our social enterprises and a sense of belonging.

We are now seeking a Collections and Logistics Co-ordinator, who will oversee the collection and delivery of donated items and goods sold in our charity shops. The postholder will be the first point of contact for our donation centre, responding to calls and emails, responsible for creating a daily schedule for the van crew, and liaising with the shops to ensure stock levels and a pipeline of quality donated items.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in a customer service role, with an element of logistics / scheduling
  • Experience working in a team environment with other staff members and / or volunteers
  • Understanding of GDPR / data protection
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective administrative skills
  • Competent IT user including Microsoft Office packages, internet and email

We are seeking a professional, well organised individual, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise. This is an exciting opportunity, in a lynchpin role to aid Emmaus Greenwich in supporting people who have experienced homelessness and social exclusion.
