When you donate to Emmaus Gloucestershire, you are having a direct impact on the lives of people working hard to rebuild their lives following homelessness.
All items donated to our shops allows our community to continue providing a home, meaningful work and support to formerly homeless people in our social enterprise.
We accept pre-loved furniture, household items, clothing, white goods, garden furniture, glassware, textiles, crafts, electronics, media, and much more. All items must be in good saleable condition.
If in doubt about the condition of your item, please check out the section below on items we do and don’t accept or call 01452 413 095.
We will be accepting donations at our Nailsworth and Gloucester shops from Monday 15 June.
Please ensure that all items you will be donating are in good saleable condition and have been cleaned. If you can, please pack the items in bags or boxes and label if possible.
To safely handle donations and ensure we have space to store them for 72 hours before going on the shop floor, we might need to ask people to come back with their donations another day.
To help save you time, please call ahead to check – Nailsworth 01453 835036 and Gloucester 01452 413095.
We are extremely grateful to for all the donations we receive, however, due to high waste disposal costs and trading standards, there are some items we are unable to accept due to space, demand, condition and legal reasons.
Did you know that unlike some charity shops, we can accept some electrical items? That is because we safety and function test everything to ensure it works properly and is safe to use before we sell it in our shop.
