From Saturday 6 May, our popular charity superstore is open at a temporary new location at Units 1 & 2 Channel View Road, Dover CT17 9TW. The new site is very close by, our opening hours are the same, and you can expect the same high quality second-hand and vintage items on sale in our new location.

Whether you need to kit out an empty flat, replace a three-piece suite, or purchase that special piece of furniture, you’ll be surprised at what you can find: we have dining sets, sofas, coffee tables, display units, cabinets, dressing tables, beds, desks, drawers, wardrobes, upcycled items, antique furniture and more! We also sell bric-a-brac and clothing, as well as books, toys and DVDs.

We are temporarily relocating while we undertake some important refurbishment work at our usual location at Archcliffe Fort under our Building a Better Future Project. The project was launched in 2019 with the aim to secure the long-term future and sustainability of Emmaus Dover. The development of our site will invest in new facilities that will create more opportunities for our companions, generate new income and a historical place of interest where we can share the rich history of the Fort with people living, working and visiting Dover.

We are now in Phase Two of the project, which will refurbish and repair our old warehouse building into a new modern retail space and improve and expand our car park facilities. We anticipate this process will take approximately six months, but we will post regular updates so our customers will stay informed of our progress.

The project is still open for donations while work continues at Archcliffe Fort. If you would like to learn more and support us, visit our fundraising appeal here.
