Since the beginning of the year, we have welcomed loads of visitors to our regular jumble sales. Once every month or so, our jumble sales give people the opportunity to fill up a bag for only £5, and they always prove to be a big hit! As well as our general jumble sales, this year we have also had special themed events including our recent Pudsey jumble, which raised money for Children in Need, a Queen’s Jubilee jumble, and a special Garden sale during which we launched our amazing new Castle View Garden Centre.
So far this year we have raised over £4,000 from the jumbles, which goes back into our social enterprises to support the work we do helping people who have experienced homelessness.
The last jumble sale of the year will be our special Halloween scavenger hunt and jumble sale, which will take place on Saturday the 29 October. The scavenger hunt is free for children, who will also get a special goody bag and sweets. We look forward to seeing you there!
