Dover Town Council generously granted Emmaus Dover £2,000 to refurbish the main bathroom in the community house.

Emmaus Dover supports people who have experienced homelessness by offering a home for as long as they need it and the opportunity to gain new skills in its social enterprise. The combination of a stable living environment and work experience gives people the chance to regain their confidence, self-esteem and dignity so they can rebuild their lives.

Debbie Stevenson, Community Manager at Emmaus Dover, said: “We are so grateful that Dover Town Council have decided to support us. We are now able to update our main community bathroom, which is in desperate need of refurbishment. I would like to say a huge thank you to Dover Town Council for their continued support.”
