On 1 June we will be celebrating the Queen’s platinum jubilee in style! From 10am at Archcliffe Fort we will be hosting a free tea party and entertainment sale.
The event will feature a delicious selection of homemade cakes, sandwiches and snacks, hosted in a marquee set up in our beautiful grounds. With views of the white cliffs of Dover, the site is the perfect spot to celebrate. As well as the tea party, there will also be a gorgeous selection of items to browse to host your own party with, including picnic sets, bric-a-brac, toys and more.
Our Retail Manager Delphine Blainville Fielding said: “We’re very excited to be celebrating this milestone anniversary. The tea party is going to be a fun event for all the family, and we hope will be a chance for new visitors to come and see our site and support the work we do. We’ve curated some fantastic pieces for the sale as well, so visitors can pick up some real treasures.”
Our Community Manager Debra Stevenson said: “After the years of Covid-19 prevented us from getting together, it’s great to have a fantastic reason to celebrate this year. Our companions work very hard to make Emmaus Dover the special place it is, and we’re delighted to be able to come together and enjoy a party!”
The platinum jubilee tea party and entertainment sale will take place from 10am – 4pm on 1st June 2022 at Emmaus Dover and is free for anyone to attend, no need to book in advance. We look forward to seeing you there!
