If you’re passionate about the environment and love the outdoors, then volunteering at our Emmaus Community Tree Nursery is the perfect opportunity for you! We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with a range of tasks, including looking after young trees, mulching, gardening, weeding, and building beds.
As a volunteer at Emmaus Cornwall, you’ll have the opportunity to learn new skills and make a real difference in your community. No previous experience is necessary – we’ll provide all the training and guidance you need to get started.
At our tree nursery, you’ll have the chance to work alongside other like-minded individuals who share your passion for the environment. You’ll be a part of a supportive community that is dedicated to making a positive impact on the world around us.
Our volunteer program is flexible and can accommodate a range of schedules. Whether you’re looking for a one-off volunteering opportunity or a long-term commitment, we can work with you to find a schedule that suits your needs. As we’re a brand new nursery, a set number of hours each week or month may not be guaranteed at this time.
By volunteering at our tree nursery, you’ll also be helping us to meet our aim to open an Emmaus community in the Duchy. All proceeds from our tree nursery go towards our £1million fundraising target to open our community, which will provide a home, work, and support for people who have experienced homelessness. So not only will you be making a difference to the environment, but you’ll also be contributing to a cause that is working to end homelessness.
