The wait is over. We are thrilled to have now reopened our Home Store. Our popular em’s Bistro is also open to serve takeaway hot and cold drinks, cakes, crisps and ice creams. Plus takeaway breakfast baps (baps available Wednesday – Saturday 9.30am – 3pm; Sunday 10am – 2.30pm).

Our new Home Store and Bistro opening hours are:

Wednesday to Saturday 9.30am – 4.30pm
Sunday 10am – 4pm
(closed Mondays and Tuesdays)

The Bric-a-brac area in our Bistro building is also open as usual. Our Boutique clothing department is open but our changing rooms remain closed. Items can be returned at a later date if required (no returned items will be resold).

Customer toilets are available. Unfortunately due to current government guidelines, we’re unable to provide seating at this time.

Keeping everyone safe whilst shopping

Please avoid visiting our site if you or members of your household have been experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.

In order to give everyone a pleasant, safe experience in our Home Store and Bistro, we have new one-way systems in place to aid social distancing, and are limiting numbers of customers at any one time. We’d be grateful if customers avoided visiting in large groups.

We ask that all customers use a face mask when inside. Facemasks will be available at the door, for a small donation, if you should need one (while stocks last). We’ve also installed a hand sanitising station at our entrances.

We have carried out a Risk Assessment with new cleaning measures in place, perspex screens at our tills, and we’re asking customers to pay using contactless if at all possible.

Front-of-property Delivery Service

Our usual home delivery service (for an additional fee) will continue to be available if you purchase a larger item. We won’t enter your home but instead will deliver to the front of your property. Our van drives all around the local area, up to a maximum distance of 20 miles.

Donating items

If you wish to donate items, please call us as we’re still only able to accept donation drop-offs by appointment only. Unfortunately at this time we’re not offering a service to collect from your home.

We are unable to accept donated items from customers who have not made an appointment in advance. This is to ensure we’re able to ensure social distancing and continue to store your donated items safely for 72 hours, before we sort them ready for stocking.
