With our Christmas Shop now in full swing after opening in our Chapel last month, we’re appealing to our kind supporters to help us keep it stocked and staffed during the festive season!
Since officially opening on Saturday 11th October, Christmas goodies have been flying off the shelves quicker than Rudolph and Father Christmas doing their rounds!
We’d love to ensure we can continue offering people cost-effective and sustainable gifting and decorating solutions at what can be a very expensive time of year.

Each penny raised from our Christmas shop, every hour volunteered and every item or pound donated helps us provide shelter, hot meals, warm clothing, and life-changing support to people experiencing homelessness.
Our Chief Executive Officer, Donna-Louise Cobban said: “Whether you choose to buy a thoughtful gift that gives twice, volunteer your time in our Christmas Shop, or make a financial donation, your kindness will make a real and lasting difference.
“Our Christmas shop is filled with unique, ethically sourced gifts and festive cards and decorations – perfect for sharing the spirit of giving, while supporting those in need.
“For those who’d like to give back in a more hands-on way, we’re welcoming volunteers to help sort and display donated stock, as well as serve our customers at this exciting, but very busy time of year.”

Our Christmas Shop (inside our Chapel) is open from Wednesday to Sunday, between 10am – 2.30pm. You can find us at School Lane, Carlton, Bedford MK43 7LQ. Please note, the rest of our site is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 10am – 4pm. (Donation drop off is from 10am – 2.30pm).
