Are you curious about volunteering with Emmaus Village Carlton and want to see what life in our community is really like? We’re excited to invite anyone interested to our Volunteer Taster Days in the new year!
These sessions are the perfect opportunity to:
- Learn about our unique community and how we support people experiencing homelessness.
- Explore the different areas where your skills could make a real difference.
- Meet our team and current volunteers.
- Enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee while getting a feel for life at Emmaus.
Volunteer Taster Dates:
- Wednesday 14th January at 2pm
- Thursday 15th January at 11am
Meeting Point: em’s Bistro
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who can give around 3–4 hours of their time between Tuesday and Sunday. There’s a wide range of ways you could get involved, depending on your skills and interests, including:
- Assisting in em’s Bistro
- Supporting our retail and donation spaces
- Lending a hand in administration, gardening, or maintenance
