We’re proud to have been sent a certificate and letter of appreciation for our recent work during the COVID-19 crisis.
HM Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire Helen Nellis and High Sheriff of Bedfordshire Susan Lousada took time to express their thanks to Emmaus Village Carlton.
Helen Nellis is HM The Queen’s representative in Bedfordshire. She is also Patron of our charity.
We’ve framed the certificate and will display it with pride. The accompanying letter expresses that they have been “impressed with the many ways in which the people of our county have responded and reached out to their neighbours during their time of need.”
The certificate “is aimed at everyone in your organisation who has played such a vital and much-valued role.”
We would like to echo this sentiment and take a moment to thank all our companions, staff, volunteers, trustees, supporters and customers – it is at times like this that we really are proud of our charity. Together, we have made sure that the vital work of Emmaus Village Carlton is able to continue.
