We’re excited to invite the local community to our annual Spring Fair. This free, family-friendly event is a fantastic way to enjoy a day out while supporting people on their journey out of homelessness. Come along to enjoy music, seasonal food, shopping, and experience our vibrant Sussex Emmaus community.
Supporting people on their journey out of homelessness
At Sussex Emmaus, we provide a stable home, meaningful work, and tailored support for up to 58 people who have experienced homelessness and social exclusion. Through our social enterprises and community life, we offer more than just a place to stay, we help people rebuild confidence, develop skills, and regain independence.
What you can see and do at the Spring Fair
Our Spring Fair is packed with fun for all ages, including:
- An interactive Easter Egg hunt with a surprise craft prize
- Collectable treasures in our Vintage Emporium, including a special Disney selection
- Live entertainment from resident DJ Ital Vital
- Upcycling demonstrations of one-of-a-kind lamps by our Companion Christian
- A food market featuring fresh local produce, from vegetables to bread and dairy
- Cakes, ice cream, and special café dishes
- Polytunnel tours (Free but you’ll need to book): Book here
- A Shakespearean-themed fete and a 50p Jumble Sale at our Outfit London Road shop
