The Greenhouse – A botanical treasure trove
Tucked behind our Second-hand Superstore in Portslade, The Greenhouse at Emmaus is more than a garden shop — it’s a vibrant, plant-filled haven for green-fingered visitors and budding gardeners alike.
Discover a wide range of indoor and outdoor plants, many lovingly grown onsite in our polytunnel, alongside a colourful selection of donated gardening treasures:
- Plant pots, vases and tools
- Gardening books and furniture
- Faux flowers, wellies, and quirky bric-a-brac (yes, even gnomes!)
Beyond the shop, The Greenhouse project also includes a community allotment, polytunnel, and a popular seed swap drawer, where visitors can leave or collect seeds for free.

Tuesday – Saturday, 9:30am – 5pm
Delivery is available for larger items.
