updated 6th July 2020
In 2016 Emmaus Lambeth were given the opportunity to trade out of the former Missionary Mart site on Stafford road Wallington.
In the short time since, we have opened two new additions to the Emmaus Surrey name, with shops now open in Carshalton High Street and Town End in Caterham.
The shops will provide volunteer opportunities for people that have experienced homelessness, are long term unemployed, or those lacking in confidence and experience.
With the income generated from sales in these shops, we plan to open a new residential community home in the South London area to support people who have experienced homelessness or vulnerably housed.
For information about becoming a Companion at our residential community home in West Norwood, find out more about joining a community here.
No time to volunteer? Think again! A small amount of time makes the biggest of differences to us. You could be creating sorting donations, serving customers or on one of our vans delivering and collecting household goods. You’re going to be meeting new people while helping to end homelessness.
