We’ve launched our Summer Appeal to ask for public support to change lives and take action on ending homelessness. Here’s why.

A record number of people in the UK are now experiencing homelessness. That’s over 300,000* people without a place to call home.

The situation is beyond a crisis; it is an emergency.

That is why we are more determined than ever to support the 30+ Emmaus communities and groups across the UK to provide a home, meaningful work opportunities and a sense of belonging for people with experience of homelessness.

Action on homelessness

Earlier this year we released our Action on Homelessness manifesto calling on the new government to urgently prioritise homelessness support and prevention.

This plan sees us engage proactively with ministers to ensure our demands to protect support services and build more social housing are met.

We are campaigning for change in the future but remain just as determined to help people escape homelessness right now.

People like Ray.

After experiencing homelessness, Ray turned to Emmaus for support.

Today, Ray has a place to call home, to spend time with his family and move forward with his life.

We want to help more people like Ray, but we can’t without vital donations from our supporters.

Today, your donation can change someone else’s life. It will have a direct impact, lifting people out of homelessness and supporting them on their journeys to a safer, happier future.

With your support, we can provide the help needed and ensure the new government urgently prioritises homelessness support and prevention.

What will my donation go towards?

Funds will be used to provide support and a home to help more people.

£10 could help someone experiencing homelessness travel to an Emmaus community.

£25 could buy training for someone we support.

£50 could help fund a project to support the wider community.

We have an ambitious plan. You can help us meet that ambition. Take action on homelessness.

Donate today.
