The Royal Oak opened in December 2021 and has gone from strength to strength.
It’s home to our community café, serving delicious and healthy food at affordable prices. Enjoy our tasty breakfast and lunch menu with fresh ingredients or just enjoy a slice of cake and a drink. We have vegan options available, all meals are available as a kids portion and we are dog friendly!

Like Emmaus Suffolk’s other social enterprises in Ipswich , the Royal Oak community café and charity shop also provides volunteering opportunities for people experiencing isolation, loneliness and long-term unemployment. This model has enabled many Emmaus Suffolk volunteers to move on to employment, training or education.
