Last Friday, we officially opened the new Wellbeing Hub in Great Eastern Square in collaboration with Communities Together East Anglia.

The space, adjacent to our Felixstowe shop is now welcoming guests to wellbeing hubs, drop-in sessions and is available for local organisations to host activities from.

We were joined by charities and organisations from across Suffolk that offer health and wellbeing services & support as well as hub attendees and new supporters.

The BeWell bus was in place outside Great Eastern Square providing free health care checks for members of the public.

Claire Staddon, our CEO comments, “We’re so excited to see the new Felixstowe Wellbeing Hub bustling and it’s great to see the interest from local residents. As we come into September and the colder months it’s really important that people have places to go to stay warm and have some company. We welcome everyone to come into the space and see what we have on offer.”

Emmaus Suffolk will host a wellbeing hub from the space every Wednesday 2pm – 4pm with craft activities, games, books & of course a cuppa.

Huge thank you to everyone that dropped by – we hope to see you in the space soon!
