When you donate to Emmaus South Wales, you have a direct impact on the lives of people working hard to rebuild their lives following homelessness.

All items donated to our shop allow our community to continue providing a home, meaningful work and support to formerly homeless people through our social enterprise.

What items do we accept?

We accept pre-loved furniture, household items, clothing, white goods, garden furniture, glassware, textiles, crafts, electronics, media, and much more. All items must be in a good saleable condition.

Electrical Items

Did you know that unlike some charity shops, we can accept some electrical items? That is because we PAT and function test everything to ensure it works properly and is safe to use before we sell it in our shop. For large or multiple items, please use our online booking form to arrange your collection. We accept smaller donations at any of our five shops.

What items do we not accept?

We are extremely grateful to for all the donations we receive, however, due to high waste disposal costs and trading standards, there are some items we are unable to accept. We’re currently unable to do any repairs, reupholstering or cleaning of items so please ensure any donations are clean and are immediately saleable.

We cannot accept:

  • Pianos
  • Large wall units
  • White goods
  • Large back / old style TVs
  • Glass TV Stands
  • Car Seats
  • Microwaves
  • Hospital / care beds
  • Dismantled wardrobes

If in doubt about the condition of your item, or if you wish to arrange for your items to be collected, please call 01656 750829 or email us at info@emmaussouthwales.org.uk
