We are thrilled to welcome Nick to the Emmaus South Wales team as our new Companion and Community Support Development Worker.
Nick brings with him a wide range of experience across several sectors. He began his career in the Performing Arts as an actor, musician, and singer, before spending 12 years teaching Performing Arts at Coleg Gwent. His passion for working with people then led him into the criminal justice system, where he supported others as a Substance Caseworker with Dyfodol and as a Family Mentor at Invisible Walls.
Nick has a strong community-focused approach and is excited to bring his creativity to Emmaus South Wales. He’s particularly looking forward to running music and singing sessions with Companions, using the power of the arts to support mental health, wellbeing, and confidence.
Nick said: “I love being creative and plan to take a wrap around holistic approach to supporting companions, I’ll be guided by an individual’s needs. I’m looking forward to building on the fantastic work already happening in the community.”
Welcome to the team, Nick!
