We would like to thank our supporter, Hywel, who will be walking the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path across a fortnight in May to raise money for our charity.

The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is 186 miles!

Hywel said:

“With a vaccine on the way, for many of us it may feel like the worst of the pandemic has passed. But sadly, the economic shock is only just beginning, which will see many people losing their homes and being forced into homelessness in the coming months and years.

“For those people, charities like Emmaus can be a lifeline and provide a route back to a position where they can support themselves and rebuild their lives. The reason I have chosen Emmaus is that it focuses on that route back, which can often be forgotten when someone has been provided with a roof over their head, however precarious their circumstances.

“So many people will be turning to Emmaus in the near future and I want to help to ensure they can support as many of them as possible. If you are able to, please consider donating to this brilliant charity and help them to build a road back to self-sufficiency for the people who need it most.”

We wish Hywel the best of luck in his training over the next couple of months. If you would like to help him reach his fundraising target of £2,000, visit his Just Giving page.
