We couldn’t do what we do without our fantastic volunteers and offer a number of rewarding voluntary positions within the Emmaus South Wales community and charity shops. You will be working alongside companions and staff to support the work of Emmaus South Wales, giving you the opportunity to meet new people and contribute directly to the success of our charity.

Volunteering would be ideal for students completing the Welsh Baccalaureate qualification, retired individuals, people seeking to gain new skills in preparation for employment or anyone who just wants to help make a difference in their local community.

We have the following roles available, but if you have other skills you think might help our charity then please do still get in touch!

  • Stock Assistants
  • Sales Assistants
  • Driver’s mate
  • Land train drivers (need a category D licence)
  • Warehouse sorting
  • PAT testing (we can offer training for this)
  • Bike Maintenance (we can no longer offer this training)
  • Fundraising
  • Community Assistant – Cooking, cleaning, gardening perhaps, general housekeeping and interaction
