Whatever your reason for donating to us, we appreciate it. We believe that resources should be shared, and that until everyone has what they need, no one should have too much. Every penny we raise is re-invested in providing a home, purpose, and opportunities for those that need them.

We work hard to generate the funds we need to provide our charitable services through our social enterprises. In a typical year we generate around 80% of the funds we need through trading. However, the nature of what we do, and who we are means that we don’t yet fully meet our own costs and so every donation we receive makes an important contribution to what we are able to achieve.

There’s not much we can’t accept. Anything you’ve loved we’ll love, but we can’t take your really unloved stuff. We can only accept items which are clean, undamaged, and in good, saleable condition – things somebody else is going to love too.

Companies and organisations are becoming increasingly aware of their community and social responsibilities, with charity work becoming part of their aims and goals. There are a variety of ways your company or organisation can become involved with Emmaus South Wales.
Book a house clearance
Whatever your reason for clearing a property, we have professional and reliable solutions. All proceeds will be used to support people who have experienced homelessness and we aim to reuse much of what we collect, saving items from landfill whilst raising money to sustain our community home in Bridgend.

Leaving a gift in your will, no matter how big or small, will significantly help people who have experienced homelessness to regain their confidence and self-esteem. This gives them purpose and the strength to change their lives for the better.

Volunteer
We couldn’t do what we do without our fantastic volunteers. Our volunteers fulfil vital roles for us throughout the charity and our enterprises. We are always ready to welcome new volunteers and you will be working alongside companions and staff to support the work of Emmaus South Wales, giving you the opportunity to meet new people, develop new skills, gain experience, and contribute directly to the success of our charity.
