Do you have an eye for detail and great people skills? We’re looking for volunteers to help at the Emmaus South Manchester Emporium in Wythenshawe. If you have time to spare, skills to give and want to help grow a new homelessness charity, then we want to hear from you.
Main duties
- Assist in the day-to-day running of our Emporium charity store
- Serve customers and deliver great service
- Process donations, including sorting, pricing and displaying items
- Help to keep the store clean and tidy
- Promote Emmaus South Manchester and our future goal.
Skills and experience needed
- Able to work individually and as part of a team
- Flexible attitude to types of jobs required within the role
- Respect for the organisation’s policies
- A willingness to help out where needed
- Teamwork, customer service and problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic and a positive, can do attitude.
Time commitment
Our Emporium is open Wednesday to Saturday and we are looking for a volunteer who can commit to at least 1 day per week (9:30am-4pm).
