This week we’ve introduced a new solidarity initiative within our Wythenshawe Emporium charity store.
The Uniform Solidarity Rail has a range of school clothing items which will be offered free of charge to anyone who needs them. Items include school uniforms, PE kit and other clothing items for young people who attend our surrounding primary and secondary schools.
Solidarity is one of the core values of Emmaus. Everyone involved within an Emmaus community or group is encouraged to carry out acts of solidarity, to help those less fortunate than themselves. The Uniform Solidarity Rail is our latest solidarity action in support of vulnerable people and families in our area.
We need your surplus school uniforms
If you have any school uniforms or school clothing items going spare, please donate them to Emmaus South Manchester so we can share them in solidarity with local children and their families. Visit our Emporium Wednesday to Saturday, 10am-4pm, to shop, donate items and give your support.
