Join our pop-up Emmaus Repair Café to learn basic repair skills to help you fix clothes, fabrics and furniture.

This free event, part of Greater Manchester Repair Week 2024, aims to encourage everyone to fall back in love with items they already have. Emmaus South Manchester volunteers will be on hand to give you advice, tips and skills to repair your clothes, fabrics and furniture.

Our volunteers will be based in the Community Café, demonstrating a mix of repairs on a range of items. Fixing instead of throwing away means we can love things for longer, save money, and stop things ending up as waste.

The Emmaus Repair Café will take place on Thursday 14 March, 10am-1pm, at the Emmaus South Manchester Emporium, St. Andrew’s Methodist Church, Brownley Road, Wythenshawe, M22 0DW.
