Volunteers create free draft excluders for local residents
The latest Emmaus South Manchester textile volunteer project aims to help local residents stay warm this winter.
The Emmaus South Manchester Emporium is now open. Visit our large store and community café in Wythenshawe to shop and support our charity. You’ll find good quality secondhand furniture, clothes, bric-a-brac, collectables, handmade goods and interesting items in every nook and cranny.
This year our social enterprise activity has really gathered pace, so we urgently need more hands to the pump. We’re looking for people with time, skills, talents and passion to spare, and who want to help drive our charity forward. If you’d like to help in our Emporium, workshop, or out on the vans, find out more today.

Liam, a former Emmaus Salford companion“When you’re on the streets and everything is going bad, moving to Emmaus is a good feeling.”
Neil, a former Emmaus Mossley companion“Emmaus has been very positive and it helped me get back on my feet which I’m eternally grateful for.”
Keith, a former Emmaus Salford companion“I’ve grown so much as a person and I’d say to others who are struggling, give Emmaus a try.”
