Emmaus SLC offers a ‘solidarity requests’ service for those who are in vulnerable positions and require help with basic household essentials, having exhausted all the support options available to them. We can deliver items such as preowned furniture to clients through solidarity requests.

We can only provide solidarity requests to people who are based in Lambeth and Croydon. Unfortunately, we are not able to deliver to anyone outside of these areas.

Please note: if you are in based in Lambeth you will be asked if you have applied under the Emergency Support Scheme (ESS). If you haven’t, you will be asked to do so and wait for their response.

How solidarity requests work:

If you are an organisation or agency making a solidarity request on behalf of a client you can:

  • Receive a 30% discount on donated items. Delivery charge will apply in full
  • If you want bought-in good you must pay the purchase cost plus 10%

If you are an individual making the solidarity request independently you can:

  • Receive a 30% discount on donated items. Delivery charge will apply in full

IMPORTANT: All furniture and other items are second-hand from our warehouse unless specifically bought-in. We may not be able to provide you with exactly what you are looking for, but we will try our best to find items closely matching your description.

Please see here for our Solidarity Request form. once you have completed the form, email it to [email protected] and wait for a response.
