Do you care about people who are experiencing homelessness? Are you keen to make a difference and use your skills, experience, and expertise to support a local charity? Get involved as a Trustee at Emmaus SLC (South Lambeth Community) to help with the development and sustainability of the charity.
Emmaus SLC is a vibrant and much needed charity focused on supporting people affected by homelessness. Emmaus doesn’t just provide a bed for the night. We offer a home, tailored support and meaningful work in our Community and social enterprise. Emmaus is very much an operational charity, with up to 48 formerly homeless people actively working with us.
Our Board is seeking new Trustees with a wide range of skills and experience. We would be very interested in hearing from those with a health and social care background and encourage applications from people who have been impacted by homelessness themselves, either directly or indirectly. We welcome expressions of interest and applications from people of all backgrounds and beliefs and are keen to broaden the diversity of our Board of Trustees.
This is a voluntary role although reasonable out of pocket expenses can be claimed.
