Are you looking for a trustee role where you can truly see the impact of your contribution? Where every decision you help make changes lives for the better? Then we’d love to hear from you.
At Emmaus Sheffield, we’re not your typical charity. We’re a vibrant, drug and alcohol-free community providing homes, meaningful work, and genuine hope to people who’ve experienced homelessness. Our social enterprise at Sipelia Works doesn’t just raise funds; it provides our companions with skills, confidence, and a pathway to independent living.
And right now, we need three brilliant people to join our trustee board and help us shape the future of this remarkable community.
Whether you’re a finance whizz who can guide our budgets and investment strategy, a social enterprise expert who knows how to make businesses thrive whilst doing good, or someone with lived experience of homelessness or a passion for community support – we have a role that could be perfect for you.
As a trustee at Emmaus Sheffield, you’ll:
Our board meetings are held monthly at our Sipelia Works base in Sheffield (with remote options available), and you’ll have the opportunity to join one of our sub-committees, with meetings held quarterly. It’s a commitment of approximately 4-6 hours per month – but the impact is immeasurable.
We’re looking for people who share our values, bring energy and expertise, and genuinely want to make a difference. If that sounds like you, we’d love to chat.
