Due to the current coronavirus COVID-19 situation, we have taken the decision to temporarily close all three Emmaus Salford charity stores with immediate effect. Our top priority is the wellbeing of our companions, staff, volunteers, trustees, supporters and the local community.

All collections and deliveries have also been suspended for the time being in order to keep everyone safe. We have been contacting all those who have a collection or delivery booked. If you haven’t heard from us already, we will contact you as soon as possible. We also ask that you do not drop off donations at any of our shops as they will all be closed.

Lucie’s Pantry social supermarket remains open as usual. We are taking steps to ensure a higher level of cleanliness and doing all we can to minimise the risk to all members. For the safety of everyone at our community, we kindly ask that any member who may pose a health risk does not visit us until they’re feeling better and are out of a self-isolation period. We are currently looking at setting up a temporary delivery service for our most vulnerable members.

We will continue to monitor official guidance carefully and keep in touch with you about any changes. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns via [email protected]

Thank you for your understanding and continued support during this difficult time. It really does mean a lot to our community and we hope that you, your friends and family look out for each other over the coming weeks and months ahead.

COVID-19 Emergency Appeal

The majority of the funds we need to survive are generated through our social enterprise. The temporary closure of our Emmaus Salford charity stores due to the COVID-19 situation poses a significant risk to our charity. We know it’s tough for everyone at the moment but any gift you can spare will help us get through this difficult time.
