For over ten years, Emmaus Salford has provided a lifeline for people rebuilding their lives after homelessness. We provide a home, support, training and work opportunities and vital help for the local community through our other projects.
Lucie’s Pantry provides food and essentials for more than 400 local families and clothing and shoes from our School Uniform Hub. We help people into work through training courses, held in partnership with Elevate Salford.
The lease on our Pendleton building will expire in 2028 and Emmaus Salford faces an uncertain future. We need to raise funds to either cover the costs of moving or to upgrade our existing building, to keep Emmaus Salford Home For Good. Every pound you give brings us closer to our goal. Your support isn’t just an investment in bricks and mortar – it’s an investment in the future of our community.
Join us in our mission to provide stability, support, and opportunity to people in need.
“I feel I’m getting my confidence back because of the other people I’m meeting. I’m learning from other people, from their skills. They encourage me by showing me what I’m capable of doing.
“I play football for my mental health and to escape from my problems. For those 90 minutes I don’t think about anything else. My dream is to coach my own football team and learning to train others on the FA course I’m doing is a step closer to achieving my goal.
“If you say ‘this is my aim’ at Emmaus, staff will do everything they can to help you fulfil your dreams. Two years ago, I never thought I would be sat here doing this. I’m in this situation, but now I’ve got a life goal that will help me.”
The Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham“Emmaus have been embodying this community spirit for years and I look forward to continuing to work with Emmaus Salford to keep its support in the local community.”
Emmaus Salford supporter Billy McCrindle“It’s critical Emmaus Salford has a home.
“The charity gets people off the streets, gets them a home, gets them support, gets them back into employment and gets people back into life in everyday society.”
