Emmaus provides food one day each week to a Welcome Wednesday event at St James and All Souls Parish, Salford.
Welcome Wednesday was set up to support residents with a warm place to come for a meal when energy prices began rising. Spaces like this have been set up all over the country to help people to keep warm without it negatively affecting their finances.
Welcome Wednesdays takes place every week and has a pay as you feel cafe with hot soup, sandwiches and drinks, all served and prepared by our companion cook Ian and other people supported by Emmaus Salford.
