Our Preston volunteers perform vital roles at Emmaus, contributing to the success of our charity, community home and social enterprises.
People who donate time here will work alongside the people supported by Emmaus Preston (our companions) and staff, giving volunteers the opportunity to meet new people, develop new skills and gain experience. We offer a range of rewarding Preston volunteering opportunities.
Emmaus Preston offers a full induction and necessary training as well as help with expenses, where appropriate. All we ask is for a regular and consistent commitment from yourselves, an open-minded approach and plenty of positivity!
We recognise lots of our supporters may not have the time to volunteer on a weekly basis, but could offer a specific skill or expertise on a one-off or ad hoc basis. If there is something you feel you could offer to the charity or to our companions please get in touch. This could include training or work experience for people living here.
