Food on the table

Chicken from Nando's

Since we first came to South Tyneside we’ve been blown away by the generosity of the community.

Our neighbours, the council, and local businesses have all really come out in support of Emmaus North East, and it’s their contributions and support which mean we can really help the homeless in our region.

Today we’d like to say a particular thanks to the local businesses who make regular donations of food to our growing community.

We regularly receive delicious donations from our local Greggs, Nandos, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, and our local bakery, giving our companions a full and varied diet, which they really appreciate!

These donations of food mean we can share with others when we do our outreach work in South Tyneside, so rest assured that nothing goes to waste!
