Want to learn new skills?

Learn how to fix broken furniture, make new items out of wood, use hand and power tools and upcycle wooden furniture.

Drop-in between 10am and 2.30pm, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

You can attend as many free classes as you’d like: at our Furniture & Home Charity Warehouse, Senate House, Josiah Wedgwood St, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, ST1 5NT

The classes will focus on three key skill areas:

  • making household and/or garden items – small items of furniture, chopping boards, spice racks, etc.
  • repair workshop – repair, reuse, recycling of furniture.
  • learning to use hand tools – developing skills in traditional hand tool techniques
