The welcoming faces of our reception staff and volunteers are the first port of call for our customers visiting the Emmaus Furniture Mine store and are there to answer any questions and take payments from shop customers.
As a shop reception assistant you will also be asked to answer queries that come in over the phone and book in deliveries and collections using our online system – full training will be provided for this.
We are ideally looking for at least a half day commitment a week, however we are aware that this is not always possible so are happy to discuss timings that suit you. If you’re interested in combining several of our volunteer roles then we can discuss how this could work – all role descriptions are provided for guidance only, so we can tailor volunteering opportunities to suit you.
